Attention to detail and quality that lasts are what sets us apart from others.

Some of the attention to detail in a quality taxidermy mount to notice and are individual to each species:

• There are many other important aspects to pay attention to when getting quality taxidermy work.  Many of those are things you don't see underneath the hide that involve preparatory work to the skin/hide or form.
• Alignment of the skin on the mannequin.
• Shape of the eye.
• Ear placement and position on the head.
• Nose pad placement and interior nose detail.

• Paint colors.
• On open mouth mounts, the tongue color and placement, detail of the gum lines and blending of skin to mount and throat.
• Tear duct alignment.
• The tan of the animals skin.

Gamehead Detail

Every gamehead gets the detail work done to make the animal look as real and lifelike as when the animal is in the wild.

The images to the left show the difference our mounts have.  These whitetail deer images show the lifelike nose pad with 'dimples' creating a lifelike appearance and texture.  Notice it is not smooth or painted just black.
Whitetail deer do not have a smooth nose and it is not just black.


The image of the whitetail deer eye shows the wet eye look and flesh color a real deer should have.

Cat Detail

The image of the Leopard to the right shows the detail that goes into making a cat face look realistic.  Notice the attention to detail of the ear position, the eyes shape and focal point.  The whiskers, and nose pad alignment on the form, and the detailed inner mouth.

Fish Detail

Detail in a quality fish mount cover many area. 

From the eye-set and rebuilding of finish work, to the paint and gloss.

Fin placement and body positioning are also huge when looking for a quality fish mount.

Notice the iridescent colors and blending of the colors together.  Also notice the hand tipped scales.
